TL DR Nidhogg’s using Enstinenin as a mobile babelfish that is translating by meaning rather than exact. Technically the same thing, but different meaning is conveyed. Like the difference between calling someone “feces” vs “a piece of shite”. Cause a lot gets lost in translation if you go by exact wording. Do you translate the exact wording or do you translate the meaning of the phrase? Pain in the ass. Anyone who’s dealt with or studied translation of texts understands this problem. IE it’s the closest common phrase that conveys the totality of the thought. Remember common isn’t the dragon language so he’s “translating” probably through Enstinenin’s (sp) language centers. He’s trying to be hip with his new bipedal form ibi don’t judge him I realize he does technically have hands now, but that seems like an odd choice of phrase for a dragon.
My only gripe about the 3.3 trailer: Nidhogg saying “thou shalt die by my hand.”
