Unlike Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero II loses Rock Meter Stays Green, Hero Guitar, and Skull Head Crowd cheats. In Guitar Hero II, to activate cheat codes, you must tap the buttons at the Main Menu just like Guitar Hero.
This cheat doesn't work in Career Mode (Solo or Co-op). The band will play in total darkness where there is no crowd. Your rocker's guitar will become invisible. There are combinations of buttons you can tap in from Yellow Fret to Orange Fret. In Guitar Hero, to activate cheat codes, you must tap the buttons on the Main Menu. 10.5 Extra Line 6 Tones!
